In milling, we adjust non-standard dimensions or strict plate thickness standards through grinding to increase or decrease thickness!
★ The specifications of high alloys, titanium, and stainless steel hot-rolled materials sourced from overseas do not match the specifications of our products.
★ The specifications and dimensions of materials that cannot be processed by milling, but we want to reduce the plate thickness.
★ For steel materials that require precision processing, we do not need the same level of reduction as milling, but we want to adjust the plate thickness according to specifications. Alternatively, we want to adjust the plate thickness partially.
For those facing such concerns, Tokyo Stainless Polishing Co., Ltd. has solved and improved the situation using the following technologies!
☆ Our original technology, EGR polishing, can accommodate a thickness reduction of 1.0mm (approximately 30 microns per pass).
☆ With pressure adjustment at the micron level, we achieve stable plate thickness deviations, and we can also perform partial thickness adjustments, finishing to the stringent plate thickness specifications required.
☆ We realize thickness polishing not only for all types of stainless steel but also for difficult-to-grind materials such as high alloys and titanium. We take pride in our achievements with materials for gas turbine engines, among others.
We reduced the thickness of SUS No.1 (four-stage hot-rolled product) by approximately 1.0mm, compressing the plate thickness deviation to just 0.082mm, reproducing dimensional specifications that cannot be achieved with hot-rolled materials and achieving stable plate thickness deviations equivalent to cold-rolled materials.
